What does science say about snails?

Did you know that snails dig holes in the mud and hide upside-down in the holes? This process is called estivation. They create a thick layer of hardened mucous and close the opening of their shell. The mucous membrane prevents the snails from drying out!

Isn't that super cool?

Do you know what's cooler?

In the 1850s, a scientist placed some estivating land snails in a wooden box with holes and dropped it into the ocean to see if the snails would survive. It turned out that the mucous membrane helped a quarter of the estivating land snails to survive in the ocean saltwater.

What does that tell us about snails?

The mucus membrane of land snails could also protect them from drowning.

It is almost as if the mucous membrane is the land snail's swimming float!

What do angels say about snails?

Yes, I work with angels and snails at the same time.

How is that possible?

Well, my angels teach me about life through the movements and behavior of snails. Sometimes, my angels create synchronicities related to snails that help me understand their messages too.

This week, two kids showed me a coconut tree that had a group of snails hanging out near its roots. One kid wanted to break the shell of the snail (yes, he is going through a rowdy phase), and the other kid wanted to touch the snails with a stick. Clearly, they both had wild plans.

On the other hand, I gleamed with excitement that I found a group of snails without having to look for them. I usually spend 10-15 minutes hunting for them in my society garden, so the kids saved me considerable time and effort.

I am certain that this synchronicity was arranged by the angels. In my opinion, it was a message for me to be open to receiving from others, instead of putting effort and spending time searching for opportunities.

I do have to admit that I spent quite some time nurturing my relationship with both the kids. They are extremely naughty, and I have had to be extremely patient and tolerant towards them. However, they also play with me. I get to be a child when I am with them.

So, dear reader, the angels ask for us to play and be patient. They tell us that it could reduce stressors in other areas of our lives.

So, if you are looking for a snail, that is, an opportunity of any kind, then it is best to be open to receiving the opportunity than looking for it.

Who knows?

You might also find a group of snails or many opportunities without having to find them.

Does that resonate with you?
