Why Snails Don’t Rush Through Life?
Have we ever seen a snail pace on the road? Have we seen it move at lightning speed or run like a cheetah?
No, right?
Is it a negative quality that snails are slow?
Absolutely not! They know how to live life. They know how to live their life.
A snail doesn't have limbs like other animals or humans. It has a body that slides from one area to another. If a snail planned on running like other animals, it would have hurt itself, wound itself, and ultimately suffered grave trauma.
When snails move, they move at a pace that suits their body form. They move with respect to their gifts, which are slime and making wave-like motions that help them crawl. They know that comparing themselves with other animals and humans would only get them into trouble. Hence, they don't compete with us; rather, they embrace their form and speed. They enjoy their lives!
If you see a snail's life cycle, you would notice that snails are born, they grow and hibernate, and leave their shells and die. They take their time with each cycle of life. If you have an opportunity to observe a snail for one whole day, you would realise that snails don't move much either. They would only cover a small amount of distance throughout the day. They play to their strengths, which are slow movement, alertness, and nonchalant behavior.
Sensitive individuals can have late milestones; that is, they either experience life in ways that feel slower than others or they feel as though they aren't living life at their fastest speed.
I get it! I have always felt as though I am slow, as if the entire world moves ahead of me quickly. However, if you feel the same, it is important to remind ourselves that we mustn't compare ourselves with other human beings, as we are designed differently, much like the snails.
Creating A Shell: How to Protect Your Energy Without Cutting People Out?
I believe that a major reason for sensitive individuals to move slowly is that they are often bombarded by external stimuli and toxic energies. Sensitive individuals can be caregivers, empaths, healers, listeners, coaches, doctors, or creatives. They all would have one common factor. They all would be givers, which means they would go out of their way to give others their time, energy, space, and energy. Many times, sensitive individuals can attract narcissistic individuals who can take from them energetically or can become emotionally toxic.
At such times, it is important to protect oneself from takers. At such times, it is important for sensitive individuals to protect their energy without having to cut people out of their lives. If the narcissist is a family member or a boss, it could be difficult to avoid that person; hence, it would become essential to place boundaries without cutting people out of one's life.
And, how do you do that?
A good start would be to create a protective shell for ourselves. When snails are bothered by others, they go into their calcium-lined shells. Similarly, when sensitive individuals are bothered by others, they can create a golden light bubble around themselves and use it as a shell to stay inside it. Gold light or golden color is protective energy and a ray of source light that negates negative energy, force, and vampire energies.
Steps to protect yourself with a golden light bubble:
Please place your feet on the ground.
Please close your eyes.
Please imagine golden roots passing from your tailbone to your thighs, knees, calves, heels, and toes. Then, please imagine the golden roots to flow into the ground 20 feet under your soles vertically and horizontally, making sure you are properly held in the ground.
Now, please imagine a golden color light wrapping you like a bubble. If you have trouble imagining it, you could try thinking of yourself sitting inside a golden balloon.
Once you've placed yourself in a bubble or balloon, please make sure that the space within is filled with golden light.
Please breathe the golden light into your lungs and hold an intention for it to seep into each and every physical, energy, psychic, and emotional part of you. Please let the golden color wash all your cells and your being in its majesty.
Once you feel filled with golden light, please open your eyes and continue with your day.
Please remember that the golden light bubble works as a protection tool and not a defense tool.
Also, please remember to enjoy the energy of golden light in everything that you do!
