Sensitivity Without Protection
Have you ever seen a snail? Isn't it always under a shell? And why wouldn't it be? A snail's shell protects its body. Snails don't have rigid bodies, rather, they have delicate bodies that require care, much like the bodies of sensitive individuals.
Snails are protected with their shells because nature knew that they wouldn't survive too long without the shells.
A few months ago, I was keenly interested in spending time with snails and observing them. I would spend almost an hour observing them. In that time, I noticed that snails are very protective about their energy. They use it wisely and only for some people. I don't think snails would entertain humans unless they saw them make an effort.
I find that the analogy of snails goes well with sensitive people too. Sensitive people who are highly aware of their surroundings, various stimuli, emotions, energies, and thoughts can develop challenges if they don't protect their sensitive nervous systems.
Sensitive individuals can be like snails, requiring a shell for their bodies, energy, and nervous systems. Of course, it would be funny to roam around with actual shells, so what must one do?
Angelic Reiki as the Energetic Shell for Sensitive Nervous Systems
I find that sensitive individuals like me benefit from energy healing techniques like Reiki. Although it isn't a physical shell, it does become an energetic shell for the sensitive nervous system and for the energy bodies.
As a highly sensitive person, I have had to learn various spiritual modalities including Vipassana, Pranic healing, Access consciousness, Shamanic healing, angelic healing, and angelic Reiki.
In doing so, I found that angelic healing and angelic Reiki healing were the only modalities that worked for me. And I imagine that happened because angelic Reiki have subtle and gentle energies that soothe the mind, heart, and energy body.
I find that angelic Reiki has a way to communicate with our nervous system and energy bodies, almost soothing and reassuring them, making them feel as though everything is going to be alright.
The first few times I utilized angelic Reiki energies, I felt as though I didn't receive any energy at all. But after working with angelic Reiki consistently, I began feeling the soothing and loving Reiki energies. These energies come from the angels, so it makes us feel safe and held. But one has to be energetically sensitive to sense the Reiki energies, otherwise it can be easily missed. However, intuitive individuals will know that they have received the Reiki energy.
I do feel as though angelic Reiki is required for sensitive individuals, as they are usually under-protected, unless they use energy, creative, or spiritual protection tools. I do wish sensitive individuals were born with a physical shell. It would have protected us from not just toxic energies but also pollution and pigeon poop, maybe.
Keeping jokes aside, I do want to say that recognising that one is under-protected is the first step to learning to protect one’s sensitivity. The next step is to understand that there are ways to protect oneself and one’s energy. What I did find challenging at the beginning of my protection journey is making a choice about what is the right protection tool for my sensitivity.
Here, I do want to add that if you are a sensitive soul, feeling overwhelmed by toxic energies and emotional overwhelm, I empathise with you. I know that it can be all too much to take in, but hang in there, as you will find your way.
I followed my intuition, and I hope you do too, reader.
For the individuals who are absolutely new to angelic Reiki or Reiki. Here is a quick introduction to it: Reiki was first discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan. Today, there are many forms of Reiki that exist. Traditional Reiki comes from source energy or the source; however, the Reiki I practise comes from angels (yes, angels are real). To briefly explain angels, angels are energetic beings who guide, support, heal, guard, and protect humans, plants, animals, objects, and spaces. We all have angels, and we don’t have to be ‘special’ to have angels.
I work with Reiki energy that comes from angels who send me healing, soothing, comforting, loving, and creative energy. The Reiki energy has helped me learn about my sensitivity and embrace it.
As I mentioned earlier, I practice angelic Reiki and offer energy/emotional healing services for sensitive individuals globally. In my four years of experience with angelic Reiki, I've noticed many changes and improvements with my cognitive and energetic health. Some of the benefits of angelic Reiki is that it can:
decrease stimulation
clear negative energies
heal our nervous systems
protect our energy
