What does science say about snails?

I know that it might be rare for people to think of snails, let alone the science of snails; hence, I felt it was important for me to step in to speak about snails.

As a science communicator, it is important for me to talk about the science surrounding snails, as they must be given the acknowledgement they deserve!

You must be wondering, why? Why must we think about snails?

Here's my answer to that question:

Snails help in the decomposition of plant material and assist in nutrient cycling. Snails consume plant, animal, and fungal matter, slowly, but regardless, they do. Their consumption aids in the decomposition processes in forests. Snails also aid in soil formation and improve soil productivity. They excrete partially digested plant matter too, a process that speeds up overall nutrient cycling. In fact, snails and slugs breakdown the litter in the forests by dispersing fungi and improving fungal growth.

So, if I had to ask you now, dear reader, haven't snails earned our right to think about them? After all, they are contributing to our planet in ways that we might not be able to, no?

I thank you if you agree with me :).

What do angels say through snails?

As someone who has been aware of angels and energy, I find that spending time with snails opens me up to the angelic world some more.

For example, this week, I found a snail and tried playing with it. It was inside its shell and wasn't ready to come out. The next day, I tried playing with the snail again, but it was still sleeping and wasn't ready to come out. When I asked my angels what I could do to play with the snail, they told me to leave it alone, as it wasn't there to play with me. Rather, the snail was there to remind me that I had to play with snails because I was stimulated by my work schedule.

From this incident, the angels were trying to show me that if someone is not behaving in the way we expect them to, then it might be best to leave them alone. It is better to take that experience as a reminder to acknowledge our needs. Yes, we might need a person/blessing like them to fulfill our needs; however, it doesn't have to be that exact person who must fulfill our need.

So, my dear reader, if you've been trying to get someone's attention and you haven't succeeded, maybe it is time to move your attention to someone who is perfect for you :).

Please remember, our angels will always want us to feel loved and not ignored <3.

Until next time, dear reader. On behalf of the snails, I thank you for committing to reading my blog post! :D
