What does science say about snails?
A research paper on snails suggests that the snails in the Western Ghats of India have unique characteristics and have remained unseen for years. The snails help create biologically diverse habitats; hence, researchers agree that snails must be given the attention they require. In fact, they help as impactful research tools in many biological fields and aid in understanding patterns or evolution. Taxonomic studies confirm that there are 299 species and 38 varieties of snails in the Western Ghats of India.
Isn’t that interesting? Can you believe that there could be so many species of snails in just one part of India, a country that is humongous?
Imagine the number of snails that could be recorded in all the cities of India, or even better, the entire world!
I think we will never stop counting!
Did you know?
Snails belong to a group of organisms called mollusks, and the study of mollusks is called malacology.
Anyway, the study of snails in the Western Ghats of India goes back to the 18th century and the British colonial rule. In fact, the snails have been the richest treasures in the land-snail collections at the Natural History Museum in London and in the University Museum of Zoology in Cambridge.
It is said that snails leave their shells for humans to understand the process of evolution. I think they leave it so that we can remember them :).
What do angels say through snails?
As an energy worker and angelic healer, I spend time observing snails and receiving messages from snails and my angels. In doing so, often, I experience synchronicities related to snails and angels. Sometimes the synchronicities are immediate and sometimes they aren't as I would have hoped them to be but even better :).
This week, my angels created a synchronicity involving snails and children.
I had just finished a short walk and was sitting in a partially enclosed space. One of my friends (who is 8 years old) came in and shouted, ‘I saw a big snail! Come, I’ll show you!'
I was feeling lazy and tired, so I denied. To which, she said, ‘come on! Now! You have to come out and see the snail. It is so big.’ I wasn’t sure why I was resisting, but I denied again.
However, my little friend did not give up. She kept insisting that I go out with her. After some time, I gave in. I went to see the snail and was she right!
We did see a humongous snail that looked so cool! I began taking several pictures and felt extremely happy to see the snail hanging out near the garden.
Later, I realised that it was my angels who helped in creating the synchronicity. They wanted me to get up, cheer up, and click the photo of the snail. After all, I hadn’t clicked a new picture of a snail for my blog :). It was my angels who took the help of my little friend to remind me to take a photo for my blog post this week.
So, my dear reader, if you have been feeling lethargic about doing something in life, I encourage you to ask your angels to pray for you and give you reminders that will help you fulfill your tasks.
Please remember, angelic interventions are innocent and cheerful. They must help you feel better (most often than not)!
Now, I truly hope you get to see a snail soon and receive reminders from your angels.
Until next time, dear reader!
