Why Are Snails Silent Companions Of Sensitive Souls?
When we spend time with snails, we realise that snails can patiently listen to us speak. They can be our silent companions and watchers, even friends who don't need much from us.
Most humans aren't like that. We all need something from the other person and that's how human partnership usually works.
Granted, it takes time to find a snail, for it to come out of its shell, for it to trust humans, play with humans, and even listen to humans. However, I've found that the wait is worth spending time with them.
It's December time, and I can't see any snails near my home, like I usually do. They all are hibernating. And its been over a month that I haven't played with snails.
I miss their company. I miss their presence. I miss their energy. I miss the safe listening space they create for me.
As a highly sensitive person, I find that playing with snails has helped me reflective nature time much more. Snails are great indirect teachers, as they can truly help us see what we would otherwise miss in our busy, fast-paced lives.
Another way to regulate one's nervous system as a sensitive soul is to experience Reiki energies and angelic healing. One can do various healings with Reiki that are specific to the challenges of sensitive individuals. Some healings that I conduct for sensitive clients include:
Reiki for energy health
Reiki for emotional healing
Reiki for chord cutting
Reiki for vampire energies
Reiki for nervous system regulation
Reiki for confusion, emotional overwhelm, and brain fog

Reiki for releasing negative soul ties and connecting with our soul families/soul mates
In fact, let me share an example of the way I practised releasing soul ties and connected with my soul family in the spirit world, that is, energetically.
How I Used Reiki to Release Soul Ties And Connect With My Soul Family?
Today, I’m going to demonstrate an exercise that involves how I use Reiki to uncord myself from soul ties that no longer serve me, and how I connect with my soul family to receive messages from them. I’ll also show how I release negative blocks, cords, cables, and energy that may be preventing them from entering my life.
How This Reiki Process Helps?
This process helps us disconnect from:
people, places, and energies
soul contracts that keep us stuck in repetitive loops
At the same time, it helps us energetically move closer to our soul family, so that when opportunities arise, we can recognise them more easily.
What Are Soul Families?
For those new to the concept, soul families are groups of souls with a similar energetic origin. They are not necessarily your birth family. Soul family members are here to:
support us
understand both our shadow and light sides
encourage growth in joyful, gentle, and healthy ways
Birth families, on the other hand, can sometimes make it challenging to consciously embrace our gifts or shadows, although this is not always the case. Some people are fortunate to have very supportive birth families, while others may experience difficulty or lack of understanding.
Many of us feel a sense of not belonging to people, places, or groups, and this longing often comes from a deep desire to reunite with our soul family. I’ve personally felt this for a long time, and I’ve been using Reiki recently to connect with my soul family. It's only been two weeks since I began connecting with them, and now, energetically, I feel much closer to them than before.
Demonstrating The Reiki Process
I’ll be running Reiki energy on myself and sharing the energetic commands, so you can understand how Reiki works for:
releasing difficult soul ties
ending outdated soul contracts
energetically inviting soul family connections
Let’s begin.
I first call upon Archangel Michael, the protector angel, to create a bubble of love and light around me. There’s no reason for you not to feel his presence—you may experience a gentle warmth or sense of protection. He also sends a warm greeting to readers reading at different times of the day.
Next, I call upon my unicorn guides, Faith and Hope, to protect my physical body, energy body, psychic bodies, and wrap me in their supportive energy.
Releasing Soul Ties With Reiki
I now call upon Reiki energy to sever cords and untie soul contracts that no longer serve my happiness, health, prosperity, career, or personal growth
I allow this energy to work across physical, emotional, mental, astral, psychic, and soul levels, creating the exact quality of love required for these ties to end peacefully.
The Reiki energy helps dissolve soul ties based on false love, emotional unavailability, or energetic drain, while sending gratitude, comfort, warmth, and safety to all involved in our past and present.
Inviting Soul Family Connections
Now, I allow Reiki energy to connect me to the higher selves of my soul family, chosen by my higher self for this lifetime, those who are gentle, loving, supportive, prosperous, and protective.
This energy clears fears, doubts, negative patterns, and opposing forces, allowing us to cross paths naturally, safely, and effortlessly, whether physically or energetically.
It creates a deep sense of belonging, familiarity, affection, and mutual support, helping us recognise our roles in each other’s lives and show up during important moments.
Grounding, Protection, And Closing
I ask Archangel Michael to:
ground me in the present moment
surround me and my world with a bubble of pink love and light
send love to all readers reading this blog post
